Drama Program

Hope has an active and award-winning drama team with several championships to show for their thespian abilities. 

In addition to two main stage productions each year, they participate in the the ENMU Drama Festival in Portales and NMAA State Drama Competition AND go on annual missions trips to Gallup, New Mexico during Spring Break and/or summer vacation.

Hope has an award-winning drama team with several championships to show for their thespian abilities.  Each October, Hope's drama team participates in the NMAA State Drama Competition, and each February they attend the ENMU Drama Festival in Portales. 
Hope's Performing Arts department puts on two main stage productions per year - one each for the Middle School and High School drama teams. The venues are normally the South Broadway Cultural Center or the African American Performing Arts Center in downtown Albuquerque.
Each Spring and most Summers the Middle School and High School Drama classes do Missions work together in the Gallup area. Visiting Childrens Homes, Retirement Homes and Churches, they perform skits and serve the residents, and have a grand time doing it.
