Spiritual Life at HOPE

Because we believe all truth is God's truth, all curriculum is through the lens of a Biblical worldview.  In addition, spiritual development happens many other ways:

Preschool/Elementary

• Morning devotional, scripture memorization
• Weekly chapel 
  
  

Middle and High School

• Weekly chapel 
• Bible class daily .
• Fall - Spiritual retreats
• Spring - Spiritual Emphasis Week

Both Teacher-led and Student-led Bible studies happen throughout the year at lunchtime, before and after school on both the Middle and High School campuses.

School Chaplain:  Perry Floyd
Bible College Undergrad; Master of Divinity; experience as both pastor and youth pastor. Heart for kids of all ages, from preschool to retirement.  Perry serves as Chaplain for all three campuses of HOPE Christian School. 

Assistant Chaplains - Chris Menicucci
Chris joined HOPE in June of 2025 and brings with him over five and a half years of experience as a full-time pastor. Throughout his ministry, he has also served as a youth leader, leading more than seven mission trips and children's camps. His heart for ministry is evident in his dedication to leadership, mentorship, pastoral care, discipleship, and preaching. 

Student Chaplains
Student Chaplains and assistants from each class on Student Council (8 total).  These student servants meet weekly with the School Chaplain to pray for the school, staff, and families, and to discuss relevant topics for chapel. Topics such as Depression and Anxiety, Suicide, and more have been magnified by COVID.

Special classes, such as Parenting the Love and Logic Way, and other resources, including special educational events addressing topics such as anxiety, depression, and teen suicide, are offered throughout the year.
