Spiritual Life at HOPE

Curriculum and Spiritual Development

Because we believe all truth is God's truth, all curriculum is through the lens of a Biblical worldview. In addition, spiritual development happens many other ways:

Preschool/Elementary

Morning devotional, scripture memorization
Weekly chapel

Middle and High School

Weekly chapel
Bible class daily .
Fall - Spiritual retreats
Spring - Spiritual Emphasis Week

Both Teacher-led and Student-led Bible studies happen throughout the year at lunchtime, before and after school on both the Middle and High School campuses.

Associate Chaplain - Chris Menicucci
Chris joined HOPE in June of 2025 and brings with him over five and a half years of experience as a full-time pastor. Throughout his ministry, he has also served as a youth leader, leading more than seven mission trips and children's camps. His heart for ministry is evident in his dedication to leadership, mentorship, pastoral care, discipleship, and preaching.

Student Chaplains
Student Chaplains and assistants from each class on Student Council (8 total). These student servants meet weekly with the School Chaplain to pray for the school, staff, and families, and to discuss relevant topics for chapel. Topics such as Depression and Anxiety, Suicide, and more have been magnified by COVID.

Weekly & Special Chapel

Students from Preschool through High School attend chapel weekly, with praise and worship and a relevant, age-appropriate message from one of our chaplains or a guest speaker.

Staff have the privilege of worshiping together corporately during the school year each August at in-service and on early dismissal days throughout the academic year. And, of course, in the Teachers’ Lounge or around campus praying spontaneously.
