  • ABSENCES AND SCHOOL CLOSURES

What do I do if my child will not be in school?
If your child is ill, call the appropriate school attendance line before 8:30 a.m. each day that your child is out sick. Attendance numbers are listed on the web site under Contact, and are available 24 hours.

See the Student Handbook for additional information about attendance.
How will we know if there is a snow day or delayed schedule?
Hope Christian School will follow Albuquerque Public School (APS) for weather-related delays and closures. If APS follows a delayed schedule, our school day will begin at 10 a.m. KOB (KOB TV Channel 4, Radio 770 AM, and KOB.com) and the HCS web site are the primary sources for school cancellation announcements.
