Outreach

WORK HARD. PLAY HARD. SERVE HARD.

Our High School students not only work hard and play hard, but they serve hard as well. There are many student-lead and organized outreach activities that happen throughout the year, which are completely separate from the eight (8) hours of Community Service that each Hope Christian High School student is required to complete each year to graduate.

Local Outreach

Meager Ration volunteer with a local ministry called "Los Juntos." This ministry works with high-risk children living in a low income area in the South East Heights of Albuquerque. The program meets weekly and offers sessions in Biblical teaching, crafts, cooking, games, and play time. Meager Rations is responsible for running an evening program once a month.

Global Outreach

Every summer since 2006, a group of Hope students and teacher/parent chaperones has taken annual mission trip to Ecuador. They work with a ministry on-the-ground in Ecuador that ministers to impoverished children. They provid feeding services, medical assistance, infrastructure needs, and Biblical teaching.

Compassion International

The high school campus, like all the other campuses of Hope Christian School, participates in child sponsorship through Compassion International. Each grade level sponsors a specific child through financial donations, and the Ecuador student team is able to spend time with the "Hope" Compassion kids when they visit Ecuador in the summer!
