    What do I do if my child will not be in school?
    If your child is ill, call the appropriate school attendance line before 8:30 a.m. each day that your child is out sick. Attendance numbers are listed on the web site under Contact, and are available 24 hours.

    How will we know if there is a snow day or delayed schedule?
    Hope Christian School will follow Albuquerque Public School (APS) for weather-related delays and closures. If APS follows a delayed schedule, our school day will begin at 10 a.m. KOB (KOB TV Channel 4, Radio 770 AM, and and the HCS web site are the primary sources for school cancellation announcements. 

    Academic assistance is available for students K-12.  Check the Academics section of our web site for details.  

    FACTS is the online tuition management system which handles all tuition and fees.  Lunch money management will continue to be managed through RenWeb.  Please ensure your student has a balance on this account so that they may purchase lunches at school.  Thank you for continuing to help us with our no-charge lunch program.  

    Cafeterias with hot food offerings are available on all campuses.  All lunch accounts will be maintained online through RenWeb and no cash is taken.  Thank you for keeping your student’s account current and helping us with our no-charge lunch policy.

    How do I get an important message to my child during the school day?
    Please call the office of the campus your student is on and we will get a message to them.
    May my child call me from school?
    No cell phones may be used during school hours, but your student is welcome to come to the office and the office phone to contact you.
    How can I excuse my child from class for medical appointments?
    In Elementary and Middle School, parents must physically come into the office to sign their students out for appointments.  In High School, parents may call ahead or come in to sign their students out.

    Extracurricular activities are offered on the Elementary, Middle School, and High School campuses.  Please check your specific campus section of the web site for details.

    The Student Handbook, updated each year, is a comprehensive source of information for all three campuses.  It may be found on the Admissions section of the web site as well as in the Resource Documents section of ParentsWeb.

    Lockers are assigned to Middle School and High School students by their respective campuses.  High Schoolers may choose their lockers early (before school begins) if they turn in their Physical forms by the due date.  

    Physical Education is part of the curricula on all three campuses.  PE Uniforms are required for Middle and High School students and may be ordered from our Student Store – the Dawg House.  At the high school level, other PE electives, such as weight training, are offered.  Please see the Curriculum button on the appropriate campus section of the web site for details.

    Textbooks are checked out by Middle and High School students from the HCS Library.  An annual non-refundable book usage fee of $100 is charged to all new and returning students.
