June 27th COVID (Back-to-School) Update from Mr. Heisey

Dear Hope Parents,

This week the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) released its plan for public schools this fall. Like the NMPED, Hope Christian School is relying on information from the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for guidance on formulating protocols and procedures. Due to utilizing the same resources there may be similarities between Hope’s plan and the one from NMPED; however, Hope’s plan will be formulated independently of the NMPED and will be tailored to specifically meet our size, capabilities, and needs.

Hope Christian School's plan to return to school will be available on or before July 3, 2020 and will include details about how the school will proceed to meet the needs for on campus education. Hope is committed to an educational option for on campus learning by returning to school on August 17, 2020.  We are dedicated to fostering an environment that is health and safety conscious while employing creative methods to handle everyday activities at school.

Thank you for your patience as we work diligently to prepare for students and staff to return to campus in August.

Please continue to utilize our FAQs page for return to campus information updated weekly at https://www.hopechristianschool.org/return-to-school-faqs.

Thank you,

Terry Heisey
