Playing is an important part of learning for our young students, and making academic and spiritual lessons fun helps them learn and retain what they've learned.
Field Trips & Traditions
Field trips to places such as Los Golondrinas, Albuquerque BioPark, and Popejoy Hall are just some of the most popular outings for our Elementary Students. Walk-a-Thon every Spring is another favorite of our Elementary students!
Every Elementary classroom sponsors a Compassion International child from Ecuador, participates in the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child outreach, as well as helping local ministries with Food Drives. These fun serving events help our students put into action what they learn in Bible and Chapel about honoring others above themselves.
Every year around the national Grandparents Day holiday, our Elementary Campus celebrates our grandmas and grandpas in an extra special way. We gather in the MPB for coffee and donuts and then the grandparents get to tour their grandchildren's classrooms and watch them on the playground for awhile. A fun time is had by all! See some pictures of this year's celebration in the carousel below.
