Hope Christian School

Senior Events at Hope

Hope High School seniors enjoy experiences and privileges that many other schools do not provide.  In between to the Spiritual Retreat at the beginning the year, the four-week Senior Internship followed by the Senior Trip at the end of the year,  there is also a once monthly Off-Campus Lunch for seniors only, to a restaurant of their choice.

Qualifying seniors participate in a four-week Senior Internship designed to provide them with the opportunity to gain experience in areas of interest for employment or service in the community.  During the internship period while participating seniors are off-campus, they are required to work 30 hours per week, keep a journal, and complete an exit evaluation, all approved by Hope High School's Internship coordinator.  This program not only provides seniors real world work experience, but it also help guide them in their career path choice.

To end an exciting year, about 70-80% of the senior class goes on a trip the last week of school to Orlando, Florida. There they visit Disney World, Cocoa Beach, Medieval Times, and they enjoy the local shopping and food. They have the opportunity to bond with their classmates and senior sponsors one last time before the culmination of all their hard work in a graduation full of events and honors.
