These words hung on a banner in an old chapel at the original Hope High School campus almost 30 years ago. At that time, everything seemed "so big". God did intervene and the vision o f a non-denominational Christian school in Albuquerque became a reality.
Milestones
1976

Church facility in NE Albuquerque is purchased. Hope High School opens with 54 students. |
1977
|
Graduation exercises are held for four students from state-accredited Hope Christian High School. |

Classes are expanded to include middle school students. |
| 1982 |
Church property is sold. Six acres on the north side of the city are secured. Classes open at present location with grades 1-12. |
| 1983 |
Kindergarten class is added. |
| 1994 |
Official name change to Hope Christian Schools, Inc. |
| 1997 |
Separate elementary campus is established west of the main campus. |
| 2001 |
Purchase of surrounding parcels of land begins. |
| 2002 |
Hope for the Future Master Plan begins to take form. |
| 2006 |
Construction on new Middle School campus begins |
| 2007 |
Middle School building dedicated and opens doors to grades 6-8. |
