Hope Christian School

Spotlight on Class of 1985

Spotlight on:   Class of 1985 - Jeanetta McCurdy

HCHS '85 graduate Jeanetta McCurdy in her current role as a missionary in South Africa

Jeaneatta McCurdy has always been at the top of her class!   A member of the Hope Christian School graduating class of 1985, and one of our very first Hope Huskettes, she always had big hopes and dreams. She went on to become the Hardin-Simmons University queen and graduate in 1989. Jeanetta was lead to the mission field where she has served some of the poorest of the poor in Johannesburg, South Africa.

We are proud of you Jeanetta, for all of your success and for following your heart to do God's work in South Africa!

Tidbit: After Jeanetta and her younger sister, Suzanna, graduated from Hope, Willa McCurdy, their mom, returned to Hope to bless both the staff and students of Hope Christian as one of our teachers! We truly have been blessed by the McCurdy family!
