Graduation Requirements

In addition to one year of Religious Studies and a specified number of Community Service  hours for each year of attendance at Hope, all students beginning with the graduating class of 2005 are required to earn 24 credits as follows:

English 4
Foreign Language 2
Mathematics 4
Social Studies 3½
    (U.S. History & Geography 1)
    (World History & Geography 1)
    (U.S. Civics/Economics 1)
    (NM History ½)
Science (one must be a lab) 3
P.E 1
Fine Arts 1
Practical Arts 1
Communication Skills ½
Electives 4
Senior Internship

Students transferring to Hope Christian School are required to graduate with 24 credits. students entering without required courses will be required to attend night school or summer school to make up credits. All students must take English each year of attendance and no student may take more than one regular English class at a time.

Courses must be completed by graduation unless an exception has been granted. All courses must be completed prior to the beginning of the following school year.

Credits

The successful completion of one semester of work in a given subject earns the student ½ credit. All students must earn 24 credits plus a passing grade in Religious Studies for each
year of attendance at Hope.
