Hope Christian School hosts several annual events that offer our friends and supporters the opportunity to get involved while fellowshipping and supporting our school.
It is our desire to continue to offer academic excellence and spiritual growth for students at affordable tuition costs. The cost to offer our students education with values is not completely covered by tuition and we depend on the generosity of our supporters to provide what’s lacking in operational costs, facility improvements, athletic and fine arts development, teacher professional development, and tuition assistance for families that struggle to meet our financial requirements. Therefore, fundraising events are an important part of not only our Development Department, but of every section of our school.
Throughout the year, small fundraisers are held by various departments and there are also events that support our Growing for the Future Capital Campaign. Events can also serve as community outreach so we encourage participation! Following is a list of our most popular and well-attended occasions.
Annual Golf Tournament
Every Spring, the Growing “Four” the Future Hope Golf Tournament is held at the beautiful Tanoan Golf Course. The format is a four-player team scramble and includes breakfast, lunch and door prizes. Each year the Parent Support Fellowship (PSF) contributes and works tirelessly to make our tournament the one that golfers like to return to!
Walk-A-Thon
Every Spring our elementary campus hosts a fun-filled day at Arroyo Del Oso where students walk the perimeter (or through the beautiful grounds) in support of their school. This year, Hope Christian School Superintendent Sandi Black is walking with the students and planning lunch with the top fundraiser from first grade through fifth. This is truly a Hope community event and we hope you’ll support our walking students as they take ownership and pride is raising finances for their new campus expansion (computer lab and library). . Hope Banquet
Every-other year or so, the Hope Foundation hosts a banquet along with a PSF sponsored silent auction in celebration of all the Lord has done for and through the Hope faculty, administration, students, and community. Our last auction was a night to remember. PSF Events
Throughout the year, our PSF sponsors additional events designed to not only fundraise for different campuses, but also serve as community outreaches.
