Hope Foundation of New Mexico, Inc. was founded to provide financial support to Hope Christian School and administer tuition assistance. The foundation accepts gifts in a variety of forms which include: cash or check; marketable securities such as stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares; and real estate or other tangible, personal property that would realize a capital gain if sold. Gifts may also be made through bequests and a variety of trusts. The Foundation can be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, as well.
There are situations where highly appreciated assets given to the Foundation may help the donor avoid capital gains taxes. Our generous supporters have the option of designating their gifts to specific needs or areas of growth. The Board of Directors uses undesignated funds where there is the greatest need.
The Hope Foundation Board is committed to the use of professional asset managers with demonstrated expertise. Separate managers are chosen for all equity and fixed income portions of the Foundation’s assets. The Foundation Board requires compliance with biblical principles.
