Hope Foundation of New Mexico, Inc. gratefully accepts gifts designated for any or all of the above funds in the following forms: cash or check; marketable securities such as stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares; and real estate or other tangible personal property that would realize a capital gain if sold. (Highly appreciated assets given to the Foundation may help the donor avoid capital gains taxes.) Gifts may also be made through bequests and a variety of trusts, e.g.., charitable lead trusts, charitable remainder trusts, etc. The Foundation can also be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
Donors may restrict their gift to any of the four funds or sub-areas within the Annual Fund. The Board of Directors will use unrestricted funds where they are most needed.
The Hope Foundation Board is committed to the use of professional asset managers with demonstrated expertise.
Separate managers are chosen for all equity and fixed income portions of the Foundation’s assets. The Foundation Board requires compliance with Biblical principles. Hope Foundation’s equity assets are managed by:
