Hope Foundation
Hope Foundation of New Mexico, Inc., exists to provide financial support for the stated mission of Hope Christian Schools:
To Pray for, Equip, and Send Christ-centered, passionate leaders to change the world.

Hope Christian School’s Board of Directors and Administrative staff has identified four areas of growth needed to fulfill that mission:
1) Spiritual Passion
2) Academics
3) Fine Arts
4) Facilities Improvements and Development

To that end, Hope Foundation solicits your financial gifts for: Hope Christian School

Tuition Assistance
One of the goals of Hope Christian School’s founder, Mr. Wayne Ehlert, was to provide a Christian alternative to the public schools for families with modest incomes. Though Hope’s yearly tuition remains among the lowest for private schools in the Albuquerque area with an average of just over $4,700/child, many families who wish to send their children to Hope simply can’t afford to. Each year, Hope Foundation receives approximately 50 applications for financial assistance. Annual distributions provide partial tuition grants to families who otherwise would not be able to send their children to Hope Christian Schools. Over the past 10 years, Hope Foundation of New Mexico has provided approximately 180 scholarships averaging $780 per scholarship.
Growing this fund will enable Hope Christian Schools to pray for, equip and send even more Christ-centered, passionate leaders to change our world.

Hope for the Future
If Hope Christian School is to become a school of excellence — providing the region’s best academic and fine art opportunities in a Christian environment — we must have new and expanded facilities. Gifts designated to this fund will be used to carry out the Master Plan for facility expansion as approved by Hope Christian School’s Board of Directors. The first phase in that plan is the addition of a new Middle School facility. Please visit www.jonandersonarchitect.com/hope.htm to view the Master Plan.

Hope Christian School Annual Fund
The Board of Directors and Officers of Hope Foundation of New Mexico will distribute monies generated by the annual fund campaign to support the operating budget of Hope Christian Schools. A portion of each year’s annual fund will be set aside to build an endowment designed to provide long-term stability to Hope’s operating budget.

A top priority of the Board of Directors and the Administrative staff at Hope Christian is to “Get, Keep, and Grow” excellent teachers. Support of this fund will allow the Board of Directors to continue to improve teacher pay and benefits in an attempt to attract, retain, and develop quality educators.

Giving to the Foundation
Hope Foundation of New Mexico, Inc. gratefully accepts gifts designated for any or all of the above funds in the following forms: cash or check; marketable securities such as stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares; and real estate or other tangible personal property that would realize a capital gain if sold. (Highly appreciated assets given to the Foundation may help the donor avoid capital gains taxes.)
Gifts may also be made through bequests and a variety of trusts, i.e., charitable lead trusts, charitable remainder trusts, etc. The Foundation can also be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
Donors may restrict their gift to any of the three funds above. The Board of Directors will use unrestricted funds where they are most needed.

The Hope Foundation Board is committed to the use of professional asset managers with demonstrated expertise.
Separate managers are chosen for all equity and fixed income portions of the Foundation’s assets. The Foundation Board requires compliance with Biblical principles. Hope Foundation’s equity assets are managed by
